There’s isn’t a single person on the face of this earth who wants to invest their time, effort, emotion, and sometimes even money into an endeavor only to eventually fail. In addition to being an excellent communicator, the person, teacher, or coach who offers you bodybuilding and training advice must also be an outstanding salesperson. They must be able to instill enough confidence in you so that you’ll be willing to give their philosophies a try. They must convince you that the strategies you’ve decided to put your faith in will produce the measurable results you are seeking.

I feel privileged to have this opportunity to share with you what I’ve learned about bodybuilding and training throughout my career. In this book, Packing-On Muscle: Max-OT Style! Weight Training and Cardiovascular Training Strategies, I will summarize the weight training  and cardiovascular training  principles that have not only given me the best results, but strategies that will help you get closer to your goals effectively and efficiently.

I understand that it is extremely important that I earn your confidence as a teacher and coach. I’ll explain how I developed the philosophies that I will present in this book. I’ll do my best to convince you why my bodybuilding knowledge will help you reach your physique-enhancing goals. After successfully doing so, you will be able to take the advice I’ve outlined and put forth your very best effort toward making them work well for you.

If you read this book with an open mind, you can benefit from what I’ve learned over many years of training. You can achieve a greater level of success sooner rather than later. You can drastically reduce the amount of trial and error it would take for you to reach my level of understanding.

Both the Max-OT Training and Max-OT Cardio training principles have become the cornerstone of my bodybuilding success. It is my intention to share those winning methods with you in this book.

The perspective I’ve developed about bodybuilding and training is the result of putting myself in an extremely rare position. I’m not sure if there is another person in the bodybuilding industry who has driven themselves as hard to become one of the world’s very best drug-free competitive bodybuilders and, at the same time, was determined to become an outstanding teacher who openly shares what he’s learned with others.

Sure, there are many outstanding drug-free bodybuilders . There’s no doubt that there are plenty of exceptional bodybuilding coaches as well. But one person who is striving to possess both of those qualities at the same time? No. Am I saying that I’m that one person because I’m so “great”? No. There is a simple reason why I firmly believe that I’m that one person: It’s extremely difficult and no one else has stepped up to the daunting challenge!

Every step of the way during my journey, I’ve always asked myself “How can I effectively communicate what I’ve learned to help others achieve their goals ?” You will now have the opportunity to speed up your own progress with the information I have to share—but only if you choose to take advantage of it. Investing in this book is the first step in the right direction. I assure you that you’ve come to the right place! You’ve put your faith in the right person. Congratulations!
